I'm Rucha, the artist behind Pink Chutney. I spend much of my day in a world of timelines, conversations and structure. Painting is the other side of that life — slower, instinctive and deeply personal.
I paint women, memory, colour, spirituality and the ordinary moments that begin to feel sacred when we pay attention to them.
See the work →What started as a hobby slowly became something I could not imagine my life without. I fell in love not only with painting, but with the quiet of the process — the way colour, texture and time on a canvas could make everything else feel still.
Today, my paintings have found their way into homes, cafés and boutiques. That still feels special to me. Something that once existed only between me and a blank canvas now gets to live inside someone else's everyday life.
Maybe that is what I love most about art: one person leaves a feeling behind, and someone else finds themselves in it.
